Because a degree from Hotelschool The Hague provides you with a passport to the world.

As many of our former students occupy top positions in the world of international business, especially in the hospitality industry, the Hotelschool has excellent ties with the business community, giving its students access to a global network of more than 250 renowned practical training companies. Guest speakers from the hospitality industry frequently visit us to share their knowledge with our students, they believe in our school and offer extensive opportunities within their businesses. Hotelschool The Hague offers its students an excellent combination of theory and practice.

Hotelschool The Hague is a small-scale university where everyone knows everyone else. We have two practically identical branches, one in Amsterdam and one in The Hague.
The unique educational concept at the Hotelschool, which we call ‘entrepreneurial learning’, offers you from the start the opportunity of working individually as well as in small groups, allowing you to determine your own learning path. Furthermore, this learning system stimulates the use of state-of-the-art information technology. It also helps you to develop your independence as well as your management skills. After all, the Hotelschool is first and foremost a business school, training students to fulfill positions at management level.

On Saturday, 12th of May 2012 Hotelschool The Hague will organize a selection day and an information session in Bucharest. For the exact location and time details, please check frequently or contact Angela Romijn at

Hotelschool The Hague was founded in 1929 by HORECAF, the employers’ organisation in the hotel and catering industry. Since its foundation, the Hotelschool has become an international school specialised in hotel management offering a 4-year international Bachelors degree course. This degree course is also available as a 2-year International Fast Track programme. Since October 2001, the Hotelschool offers in collaboration with Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) Erasmus University a one-year Masters programme in Hospitality Management.

In July 2002 Hotelschool The Hague became a member of ‘The Leading Hotel schools of The World’, and in September of that same year it opened a second campus in Amsterdam. The Bachelors degree course has been accredited by the Dutch Flemish Accreditation Organization (Nederlands Vlaamse Accreditatie Organisatie NVAO).

The Hotelschool is a small, autonomus and independent institute with approximately 1900 students, educating young people to become managers in the hospitality industry. About 100 lecturers and instructors from The Netherlands and abroad are responsible for teaching and training the students. Graduates from the Hotelschool have careers in hospitality companies around the world.

In the following, you can also read the testimonial of a romanian student at Hotelschool the Hague: "I am a student at Hotelschool the Hague, Amsterdam Branch, to Bachelor in Hospitality Management program. I begin by saying that the choice of this program was one of the best decisions of my life. Next, I will tell you why.
Firstly, because Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It's not like in American movies, full of drug addicts and covered by a cloud of marijuana smoke. It is an inspiring city, a city where you can do anything you want. In addition, you always find secret places that simply fascinates you.
Secondly, because now I'm in the Caribbean for five months and I do not think I would`ve come here otherwise. I am in an internship at a five star resort, which is part of education at Hotelschool. It's like paradise and I'm here thanks to my school, because they have arranged everything.
Looking ahead, Hotelschool the Hague will be a big plus in my career after graduation. Employers standing in line to hire graduates of the school, not only in the hospitality industry, but in all areas. Statistically, only half of the graduates end up working in a hotel or restaurant. This is because we do something like Business Administration, but the hard way. Not only sit in the office and learn, but those two Internships show what actually happens in reality.College course is not perfect and is not suitable for everyone. If you're not made for this, it will seem impossible and crazy. But I, after I passed the hardest year (first year), I do not regret a single moment the choice I`ve made."
